About Us

Welcome to Real Life Legacies

Share your story. And inspire more.

Memories fade, photographs become disconnected from their stories, and valuable family history can be lost over time. By preserving your experiences in a professionally crafted book, you create a lasting gift that future generations can treasure and learn from.

Whether you're celebrating a milestone, documenting family history, honoring a loved one, or sharing lessons learned throughout life, your story deserves to be told with care and authenticity.

About Me

Meet Pat Pihl

As a former features editor with experience in the not-for-profit sector, I created Real Life Legacies over a decade ago to help individuals and families transform memories, experiences, and life lessons into beautifully crafted books, articles, and keepsakes that can be shared for generations.

What I Do…

I partner closely with clients to capture their unique voices and create authentic narratives that reflect who they are. Through thoughtful interviews, careful research, and compassionate listening, I guide each project with patience, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Helping you…

Whether you want to preserve your family history, record a personal memoir, celebrate a milestone, or leave a meaningful legacy for future generations, I believe the process should be collaborative, enjoyable, and deeply personal. My goal is not simply to document facts, but to tell the stories behind them—the moments, values, and experiences that shape a life.

Why?...

Because every story matters, and every life deserves to be remembered in its own voice.
